What we collect, and why.
Last updated October 28, 2026The short version
We collect as little as we can. We never sell your information, and there are no ads or ad trackers on this site.
Email sign-ups
When you sign up for the Sunday email or take the reader quiz, we store your email (and your answers) and send you a link to confirm. We use it only to send you what you asked for. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Our emails go out through Resend.
Family accounts
A family account stores your email and, for each reader you add, a first name, an age, a ribbon color, their verdicts and a reading goal. Please don’t enter anything else about your kids. To delete your account, write to hello@nextpagekids.com.
Orders and payments
For a personalized reading kit we need the child’s first name, age and ribbon color, plus your email to send the kit. We keep the kit file for 60 days so you can download it again. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
Hosting, fonts and cookies
The site and your account data run on Cloudflare, which may log IP addresses for security. Our fonts are served from this site, not from Google Fonts. We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and no tracking cookies. Your browser’s local storage keeps your bag.
Links to bookstores
Buy links go to Bookshop.org and Amazon, and some are affiliate links. Those sites have their own privacy policies and may set cookies when you visit them.
Kids
This site is for parents and other grown-ups. It isn’t directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
